Latest addition to my Human Blood bowl team.

Thanks for looking.

Latest Warzone imperials

Been a bit slow on the painting front with the lead up to Christmas. Been busy with various Christmas parties and a couple of gigs including Placebo, who rocked BTW. So just a few new painted Warzone imperials to share this time.

Luckily I have managed to located someone willing to sell me the Imperial Ordnance officer and the Trencher LMG so some new Warzone mini's for me to paint in the New year, alongside the Plastic regulars.

Will be adding some decals to the shoulder armour of the Trenchers in the new year. I located someone through TMP who has produced some for me. Just waiting for those to arrive.

Hope you like the pics.

Thanks for looking

15mm Roundway Medieval pictures

Hi guys, on Saturday I took a trip up to the Navwar store to check out the Roundway 15mm Medieval range. As there are no pictures of this range online I thought I would share a few images for anyone else that has thought of buying from Roundway but could find example pictures.

The store owner is a nice chap but he hasn’t embraced the technological age having no pictures of his ranges on his website, no Email address for customer queries and only taking orders by fax during the week or by phone on a Saturday afternoon! The shop is only open on Saturday afternoons to boot. All that being said the figures are very nicely sculpted and were well worth the two hour tube journey on a Saturday to see them. Madaxeman has a good review of Roundways figures but no medieval pictures. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to add variation to their HYW or WOTR armies.

The photos below are not the full range but just a selection of the foot knights, archers and billmen. The photos were taken next to an Essex archer to give you an idea of scale. They are not painted but were inked to bring out the detail a bit more.

In the first image are the two variants in the Dismounted knights pack (RKE6) and the Dismounted man-at-arms (RKE7) to the right of those. The second image shows Halberdier thrusting (RKE11) and Billman advancing (RKE12). The final photo shows (RKE9) Bowman preparing to fire and (RKE8) Bowman firing. These packs are priced at £1.50 per pack and come in the usual 8 foot, 4 mounted.

Hope these photos are of use.

Regards

Chris

Warzone Imperial Trencher Hero and Sergeant

These are my first painted Imperial Warzone miniatures since the 90's. I actually bought the metal imperial trenchers boxed set back when I was about 14 and recently stripped the paint off them to redo them. The Trencher Hero pictured was bought still in it's blister from ebay a few months ago. Have more metal trenchers, a Hurrican walker and the plastic trenchers to come in the future.

Hope you like them.

Shadowforge Human cheerleaders

These are Shadowforge's cheerleaders that I have painted as my latest additons to my human team. Good fun to paint. Think they turned out quite well. As with most of the stuff I have been painting recently they still need to be varnished and based. Have more Blood bowl stuff coming including some great sideline figures and classic star players.

Final QRF colonial marines

Here are the last of the QRF marines I painted over the weekend. Also includes another character from the Space colonists pack. Next need to get to grips with the Aliens and Hunter Aliens (Preds).

Painted 1st edition metal Blood bowl humans

After having bought these some time ago from ebay I finally got round to stripping the paint off them and getting a chance to repaint them myself. As with my previous post I have not varnished or based these yet but wanted to get some photo's up for feedback. Hope you like them. Loads more blood bowl to come as this blog builds momentum.

Cheers

This is my first blog and first time I have painted 15mm sci fi. These are QRF's colonial marines and the "Ripley" character is from QRF's space colonists pack. Great fun to paint and I think they turned out well. These are not 100% complete as I need to do a final "Bleached bone" drybrush on the bases and then varnish them but as I don't have either at the moment I thought I would post the images anyway to get some feedback. Hope you like them. Comments welcomed. Be gentle with me though it is my first blog!

Coming soon; QRF's Aliens.
